2002 Roadtrek 190 Versatile - 5/2/2022 - Glued Rear Windows

Tried to open up the rear side windows today and lo and behold they do not open. What a nice surprise. Now I know why the seller had the curtains closed and why there are holes in the screens. This being my first Roadtrek I was not aware of the issue that these vans had with the CR Laurence windows that were installed. The problem was that the glue holding the hinges and supports would fail and people were losing their windows while driving. My windows are still in place but they must have had the problem because all three of them are glued shut. This is the only thing so far that has really upset me because this could turn out to be an expensive fix and it has to be corrected because we need to have ventilation. I have done some research and it is possible to fix these but finding missing parts will be tough because CR Laurence does not sell them. I will be using a razor knife to unglue one of the windows and get the details about the issue. More to come on this.
