2002 Roadtrek 190 Versatile - 6/19/22 - Rear Brake Cleanup

Took the rear wheels off to have a look at the situation back there. I knew there were no issues with the brakes as the service records indicated that they were checked at 38000 mile and are at 42000 now.

I inspected all of the brake lines, the springs, water tank lines, generator wiring, propane tank, and battery area. All solid, just surface rust everywhere which I have issues with. I took out my electric drill and attached the the wire wheel and cleaned up the brake drum housing and rear diff and the springs a bit. Got most of the surface rust off and then used Fluid Film to protect everything under there. Gave everything a nice coat just to provide some protection and prevent any additional surface rust from appearing. I do not intend for this van to ever be exposed to road salt so this should suffice for my purposes.

You can see that the rust is minor and there are no structural integrity issues.
