Spent a few hours after work today inspecting and cleaning up the undercarriage. This is an important process to perform when purchasing a used vehicle as it forces the issue of doing a thorough inspection of everything. Used steel wool and removed surface rust from the brake and transmission lines, the metal rods that control the black and gray water gateway valves, and all of the brackets that fasten the water tanks and the storage bin to the frame. Then I applied Fluid Film with a brush to these areas. When I get back to Ohio I will do a complete application via sprayer to the rest of the undercarriage. I was able to do this without jacking up the van, but it was messy and a tight squeeze under there.

Also found out that the transmission dipstick is bent up and twisted. Need to address that.
